My sock monkey empire has gone international - Ruthe was adopted and will be shipped out to British Columbia, Canada! How cool is that? She was purchased by a friend of a breast cancer walker, to show support for that walker! That made me remember how Jan brought me a sock monkey from New York when she came to cheer me on in my 2004 walk. Hmmmm.... That apparently makes Jan the inspiration for this sock monkey craziness!
